The CD is dead, long live the MBF!
The new Music Book Format is a return to the days when we actually sat down and really listened to music. When buying an album was a real experience and a pleasure. Something tangible that you could hold in your hands and feel connected to and it's Eco-Friendly!

How does it work?
Your favorite band or artist releases a new album. You buy it in the form of a Music Booklet (MBF) directly from the band, from stores (yes real stores on the high street :-), from gigs, or order online. Inside will be all the things you used to get on a CD sleeve. photo's lyrics, sleeve notes, recording info, biographies, signed posters, freebies, in fact anything that can be printed or included.

How do I listen to the music?
Simple, each booklet contains a unique code & QR code so you can come to Mubofo and either, download the songs, or if you don't want to fill up your hard drive, you can stream them.

The official MBF booklet
An official Mubofo booklet contains the Mubofo logo and trademark and is made from 100% recycled paper. Artists and bands are free to make their own but we really recommend sticking to the size guidelines (Standard A5), so that it will become a standard in the major department stores as it replaces CD's.
